HEKA

The Place
Thu 30 Jan > Sat 1 Feb. London Premiere

Drawing inspiration from the intricate connection between juggling and magic, Heka (the Egyptian goddess of magic) creates a mesmerising realm where reality blurs with illusion.

Heka creates tableaux of enormous visual force, using objects that materialise and vanish, levitate, multiply, change colour and transform before our eyes. Can you really differentiate between what is real and what is merely a trick of perception?

Recent Gandini Juggling shows have focused on the links between juggling and choreography, thrilling audiences all over the world. Now this brilliant company explores how magic principles can inform choreographic expression. Mesmerising, beautiful and unlike anything you’ve seen before.
