TELL ME
The Place
Fri 23 > Sat 24 Jan. London Premiere
From the makers of the five star The Chosen Haram comes Tell Me, a striking fusion of circus, dance and theatre.
Through Chinese Pole and aerial artistry, Tell Me follows a woman navigating her HIV diagnosis, her hopes, her dreams, her fears and ultimately her reality living with the virus in 2026. This highly physical performance draws from the lived experience of director Sadiq Ali as both a circus artist and HIV activist who creates intimate yet visually spectacular performances.
Tell Me challenges outdated perceptions and offers audiences a fresh perspective on HIV, one rooted in courage, beauty and possibility.

“Compelling, warm, joyous and optimistic in its expression of human delights, frailties, betrayal and the potential power of trusting relationships… absolutely joyous”
“Surprising and moving; a demonstration of the potential of Chinese pole as a storytelling technique and an intensely intimate and empowering tale of coping with social isolation”
“TELL ME is a bombshell arriving at a turning point in HIV history. Deeply personal and dazzling in performance, it gives tribute to the horrors of the past while allowing itself to step forward into the present”
