BOYS the film is a hybrid, blurring the lines between documentary, fiction and imagination.
It’s a candid autobiography that is stylised into something spectacular. BOYS is poetry and improvisation, it’s scripted and it’s not. It’s acting behind the scenes, playtime and confessions between true friends. It’s the complexity of our cultures, histories, sexualities, spiritualities and relationships.
BOYS is the playfulness and pressure of being a boy, trying to be a man. It’s the bright, bold colour of youth bursting through.
